A terrace of early C19 timber-framed houses weatherboarded on the front.
They were built to accommodate the workmen in a local flax industry who
beat the flax (scutchers). The terrace comprises 2 blocks, 2 storeys and
each of 6 window range. The windows are double-hung sashes with single
vertical glazing bars. Roofs slate.
