A massive C17 red. brick wall extends on the south-east front, with C18
gate piers with ball finials. Modern gates. The wall also extends some
way on the south-west side. About 7 ft high with a wide weathered cap
with brick dentils. A later wall continues on the north-east side in Mill
Lane.
