Former farmhouse, mid C16. 2 storeys. 3-cell plan, originally with cross-
passage entrance; lobby-entrance since C17/C18. Timber-framed and plastered.
Pantiled roof with axial C16/C17 chimney of red brick. 3-light small-pane
casements of C19 or early C20. Slated gabled late C19 entrance porch with 4-
panelled door. Substantial unmoulded exposed framing. Coupled-rafter roof.
Back-to-back blocked open fireplaces in hall and parlour. Two good moulded
plank doors of c.1600. A staircase was placed in the cross-passage in C17.
