Former farmhouse; built in 2 stages, the first probably C15 or C16, the second
late C16 or C17. 2 storeys. 3-cell plan with lobby entrance. Timber-framed
and plastered. Thatched roof with axial chimney of red brick. Mainly C19
small-pane casements. Mullioned windows exposed and glazed at 1st storey.
Boarded C19 entrance door. The hall range to right is the earlier section; a
higher parlour block was added to left in late C16 or C17. Interior not
examined.
