Farmhouse, probably C16. 2 storeys. 3-cell plan with lobby entrance, an
early or original wing to rear right. Timber-framed and plastered.
Plaintiled roof with C16 or early C17 axial chimney of red brick. Other
chimneys of red brick to left and rear. Mainly mid C20 casements; some early
C19 or C18 casements. C19 gabled pantiled entrance porch with half-glazed 4-
panelled C20 door. A late C16 or early C17 wall painting has a female figure
holding a key, with a landscape in the background. The word UXOR to left
suggests the figure may be one of a pair.
