Manor farmhouse. C16 and C17 with considerable modernisation; the south range
is the oldest section. Timber framed with roughcast render. The outer roof
slopes are plaintiled, the remainder pantiled. 2 storeys and attics. Double-
pile form with a further wing to the east. The north front has 3 windows,
irregularly-spaced small-paned sashes in flush frames. Gabled entrance porch
with 6-panelled door (no longer in use). The south range has 2 early C19
doorways, one with 6-panelled raised and fielded door (the upper 2 panels
glazed), reeded pilasters and entablature. Internally the house is much
altered. Intact medieval moat.
