Farmhouse. C16 with C19 alterations. Timber framed and plastered, with
brick-cased gable ends. The front (east) side has old panelled plasterwork.
Roof with black glazed pantiles to the front and plaintiles to the rear. 2
storeys and attic. 3-cell form. 3 windows, old 2-light casements. Some
windows have square-leaded glass. To the left an early C19 doorway with 4-
panelled door and architrave with corner roundels. Boarded door to right.
Heavy internal stack and a second smaller stack. Some exposed first-floor
framing internally with evidence for original windows. There have been
alterations to accommodate a C19 staircase although the original newel stairs
still survive. Substantial remains of medieval moat.
