Farmhouse. C16 with mid C19 alterations. Timber frame core, encased in mid
C19 red brick. Pantiled roof with glazed black tiles at the front. 2
storeys. 3-cell, cross-entry type. 3 windows, C19 small-paned casements
under cambered arches. C19 4-panel door. Internal stack, probably a later
insertion. Plain joists in hall and parlour. Some first floor exposed
framing, with evidence for diamond-mullioned windows. Newel stair. Eaves
slightly raised and roof renewed at shallower pitch in mid C19.
