Farmhouse. Late C16. Timber framed and plastered with C19 red brick facade.
Pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 2-cell, lobby entry form. 3 windows,
C19 casements with large panes; segmental arches. Mid C20 entrance door.
Stack has original plain rectangular shaft. Small mid C20 addition to left.
Chamfered-joist ceilings in both main rooms. Some first floor framing. Newel
stairs. Some timbers retain traces of red ochre decoration, probably
original. Intact roof with clasped and butt purlins and slightly cranked
wind-bracing.
