A former guildhall, now shop premises and 2 dwellings. Early C16 with
considerable C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Timber framed and plastered, the
upper floor of the facade with exposed studding, re-faced in mid C20. Right
gable end of C16-C17 colourwashed brick. Some very old plasterwork at the
rear. C18 hipped roof of glazed black pantiles with plaintiles at the rear.
2 storeys. Jettied first floor at front, partly underbuilt. C20 canted bay
windows beneath a continuous plaintiled hood. Central late C19 open wooden
porch on octagonal timber posts; bargeboards with pierced quatrefoils and
spike finial. Various C19 and C20 entrance doors. Gable stack to right.
