Former corn hall, now converted into a branch library. 1854. Red brick with
white brick facade and pilaster strips. Slated roof with overhanging boarded
eaves, the front gable treated as a pediment with a moulded cornice. 3-bay
gable facade, divided by brick pilasters with moulded caps; clasping pilasters
at the angles. Inset sash windows with glazing bars, flat brick arches.
Central double-recessed arched doorway, now bricked up and with a small mid
C20 window. 4-bay sides divided by pilaster strips, the 3rd bay on the right
altered to form a mid C20 entrance. 2 white brick stacks.
