Two houses; built in 2 main stages as a manor house and farmhouse in C15 and C16. Hall range of one storey and attics; C16 parlour cross-wing of 2 storeys. Timber-framed and pebbledashed: the wing is long-wall jettied on the west side. Plaintiled roofs; on the east side the main roof was rebuilt to a lower pitch in mid C20 and slated. The south gable of the crosswing has good C16 brickwork: the lower storey is in narrow pink bricks, and the upper storey in larger red bricks with a crowstepped parapet gable incorporating an axial chimney of red brick; on the north side are two blocked plastered mullioned windows. Two axial chimneys of red brick to the main range. A mid C20 double flat-roofed casement dormer. Mainly mid C20 steel small-pane casements. Various C20 panelled entrance doors. In the main range is an open hall house of C15 origin with heavy framing; altered in C16 and in mid C20. Close-studding visible, but otherwise interior features mainly concealed. Interior of cross-wing not examined.
