Former farmhouse, probably C17 or earlier. One storey and attics. 6 windows.
Timber-framed and plastered. An area of weatherboarded walling of C18/C19 to
right. Pantiled roof, most tiles glazed; formerly thatched. C18 external end
chimneys of red brick, one beside Mill Lane, and the other internal following
C18/C19 extension to right. Four C19 dormers with casements, one gabled and
plaintiled, the others raking with pantiles. Mainly C18 cross-casements. C20
lean-to timber-framed and pantiled entrance porch; C19 boarded inner door.
