Hill Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C17, in 2 phases to form a 3-cell house; C17-C18 service ranges
to left, including a former dairy. Mid C20 additions. Timber-framed and plastered,
the facade with exposed studding. Roofs of modern concrete pantiles. 2 storeys.
3 windows, mid C20 standard large-paned casements. Lobby entrance with gabled porch
in matching style to facade; mid C20 boarded door. To the left a second doorway
with matching door and a lean-to hood. Internal stack, the lower park of the shaft
rendered, the rest rebuilt. To the left a lower section links with a 1 1/2-storey
former dairy range set forwards towards the road. Modernised interior with nearly
all the structure concealed. Roof not examined.
