Former farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. C16, in more than one phase, forming a
single long range. Timber framed and roughcast-rendered, pantiled roof. 2
storeys. Windows are mainly mid C20 standard single-paned casements; No.2 (to
right) has one C19 small-paned window to ground floor. 2 mid C20 doors.
Internal stack, placed centrally, with oblong axial shaft, the lower portion
original and the remainder rebuilt C19. Small C19 stacks on outside of each
gable end. Interior. No.1, in 3 bays; has good first floor studding, the
wall braces concealed. 2 tie beams (one against stack, one open) have heavy
arched braces. Ground floor layout altered, the timbers here mostly
concealed. Interior of No.2 and all roofspace not examined.
