Former parish reading room, now a shop. 1858. Red brick, with rusticated painted stone quoins and window and door surrounds. Slated roof with crest tiles. One and a half storeys with one storey parapeted wing to left. The main block has 2 windows, heavy ovolo-moulded 4-light mullion and transom stone casements in C16-C17 style; above are cornices formed by 4 oversailing courses of brickwork. To the left is a further window in similar style but of wood, and a doorway with moulded semi-circular arch and mid C20 doors. Parapet gable ends.
