Pair of cottages (or possibly Roman Catholic chapel), now one dwelling.
Probably late C18; altered. Coursed squared sandstone with raised quoins,
slate roof. Two bays and 2 low storeys, symmetrical, with coupled doorways
in the centre under a huge moulded and shaped tympanum with an archband and
keystone surmounted by a raised cross on an oval medallion (touching the
eaves); 2 horizontal rectangular windows on each floor, all with raised
plain surrounds, and all of 3 lights with altered glazing. Gable 2-flue
chimneys with moulded caps. (Small single-storey addition at right-hand
end not included in the item).
