House. Early C19. Buff brick and plain tiled roof. Two storeys on plinth
with rendered plat band and paired modillion eaves cornice. The centre
portion of facade projects slightly with a parapet. Hipped roof with stacks
to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on first
floor and 2 on ground floor, all with louvred shutters. Central half-glazed
door with sidelights in rusticated surround within flight of 7 steps, in Doric
porch. Site of ancient manor, where Juliana, "Infanta" of Kent, died 1367;
associated fish ponds.
