Public house with house adjoining. Early-to-mid C18 facade to Glyder
House. C19 facade to public house, in same style. Possibly earlier core.
Glyder House red brick with occasional grey headers in Flemish bond. Public
house pebbledashed. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and garret on brick plinth.
Rendered plat band to public house. Dentilled and moulded wooden eaves
cornice to Glyder House, dentilled and boxed cornice to public house.
Central bay of public house breaks forwards slightly. Plain pilaster to
each end of public house and to right end of Glyder House. Half-hipped
roof. Multiple brick ridge stack to centre of public house and central
brick stack to Glyder House. Glyder House has regular 3-window front of
two 12-pane and central 8-pane sash in open boxes. Regular 5-window front
to public house of slightly recessed 12-pane sashes with thick glazing bars,
central window with rounded head and keystone. Central door to Glyder
House of 6 fielded panels with flat corniced hood. Central half-glazed door
to public house under flat consoled hood. Interiors not inspected.
