GV II
Former farmhouse. C18 and early C19: possibly older core. 2 storeys. Timber-
framed and plastered, with traces of comb-patterned pargetting. Plaintiles to
western slope of roof, black glazed pantiles to remainder. Main range aligned
north-south, with the original front, facing west, now the garden front. One
internal chimney stack and one stack at south end, both with plain shafts in
white brick. Between these 2 stacks, 2 tripartite small-paned sash windows in
flush frames flank a 6-panel door with early C19 trellis porch: 3 small-paned
sash windows to upper storey. To the north of the internal stack, 2 similar
sash windows, one to each storey, with a single-storey mid C19 brick extension
beyond. At the rear, 2 matching parallel ranges, aligned east-west, were added
in the early C19: 2 storeys, small-paned sash windows, ornamental barge-boards
to gables.
