Former farmhouse. Late C18/early C19. 2 storeys and attics. White brick on
east, random flint with red brick quoins and dressings on south and west:
steeply-pitched fully hipped plaintiled roof. A wide 1½ storey lean-to
addition along the north side, with pantiled roof. 2 internal chimney-stacks
with plain rectangular white brick shafts. The early C19 east front has 2
tripartite small-paned sash windows to each storey, with a single small-paned
sash window between them on the first storey. 2 flat-headed dormers, with 2-
light casement windows, in the slope of the roof. Central door with 6 flush
panels in plain surround, the 4 upper panels with later glazing. The C18 south
side has a range of small-paned sash windows in flush frames, with gauged
brickwork to surrounds: white brick dentil cornice, flat-headed dormers.
Similar windows and cornice on the west side, but the brick dressings are mid-
C19. A central door has the outline of a high arched surround of stone blocks
flush with the wall.
