1846 stucco front block with C17 remains of an earlier building at the
rear, having an enriched plaster ceiling. On a lead pump in the kitchen
are the initials RM and K above and date 1783, which may refer to Richard
Morley, Quaker, who once lived here. Free Renaissance front, heavy
dentil cornice, 2nd floor band and 1st floor double band. 4 windows
at 1st and 2nd floor, including 1 window wing west, with separate
entrance. Ground floor, 5 arches, centre with entrance.
Nos 40 to 44 (even) 52 to 84 (even) and 90 to 94 (even) form a group.
