Early C17, but it is recorded that it was "old in 1604". 2 storey and
attic, 2 small dormers at rear. Timber framed and plastered, cove
cornice, brick plinth. Tiles. 4 windows, mullion transom casements.
Two 6-panel doors, upper panels replaced by modern glass, one, right,
with heavy carved consoles, and cornice hood supporting sculptured
lion. Modern wing and lean-to at rear.
Nos 40 to 44 (even), 52 to 84 (even) and 90 to 94 (even) form a group.
