Dated 1841. Tudor style cottage in yellow brick. Tiled roof with gabled ends
and wide eaves. Two-storeys. Two gabled bays with set-offs project at the front
with ornate openwork bargeboards. Two-light casements with small pane in chamfered
openings with stone lintels. Large central brick stack with group of 4 octagonal
shafts. Wing at rear with pair of octagonal chimneys and gabled porch with
openwork bargeboards and stone shield tablet with date '1841' and initials 'C.H.C'.
