Two houses and shop. C16, in 2 or more phases. 2 ranges forming L shape
plan. Timber framed and plastered, plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attics.
Good unaltered exterior to main range fronting The Street: 5 windows, C18 2-
light and 3-light casements with square leaded panes, the 2 ground floor
windows with paired boarded shutters; to the left hand side is a mid C19
doorway with 6-panel door (the upper 2 panels glazed), reeded pilasters,
panelled frieze and cornice. To the right hand side is a later C19 boxed-out
shopfront, framed by pilasters, and with an inset half-glazed door: above the
doorway the mid C20 Royal Arms of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother; the shop
front has a small glazed addition on the left hand side. Internal stack.
North wing with 2 windows, mullion and transom casements, mid C20 panel led
door and internal stack. Modernised interiors.
