House, formerly rectory. Circa 1840, with core of late C17 or early C18. 2
storeys. painted red brick; the rear T-shaped block has encased timber-framed
walling. Pantiled roofs with undulating bargeboards and ridge finials;
moulded eaves cornice. Central C19 chimneys of red brick; square flues with
recessed panels between. Casement windows of c.1840 with splayed reveals and
hood-moulds, the ground floor windows also have transomes. A splayed bay on
the garden side has a parapet roof with embattled ornament. 1-storey entrance
porch in the re-entrant angle, the doorway has splayed reveals and panelled
door with a pattern of applied beading.
