Dwelling and shop. Early-mid C 19. Red brick, with brick band at first floor
level and brick eaves dentil cornice; roof of asbestos slates. 3 storeys. 4-
bay facade, 3:1, the bays divided by brick pilasters; the 3 left hand bays of
the house are symmetrical, the right hand shop bay being wider and angled back
slightly around the corner. Sash windows with glazing bars in flush frames,
slightly cambered brick arches; one blank panel on second floor. The house
has paired panelled shutters to the ground floor windows and a central doorway
with twin inset 3-panel doors (the upper panels glazed) and a blind semi-
circular fanlight with glazing bars. Original shop front with slightly bowed
4-light window, double half-glazed doors and above a wrought iron balcony on
shaped brackets.
