Originally the parish church now a mortuary chapel. C14 but west tower has
possible long and short work at corners indicating possible Saxon origin.
Chancel demolished and replaced by C19 stuccoed apsidal end to nave. West
tower stucco on flint rubble; in 2 stages with stepped angled buttresses.
Flushwork to base and embattlemented roof. 2 centred pointed cusped arches to
louvred bell openings on all sides. Loop to north side. Nave in flint rubble
with stepped buttresses with stone quoins. Decorated windows mostly restored
C19. Plain-tiled roof. West doorway to tower appears C14 original. Interior
has arch braced hammer beam roof. A brass of 3 figures, Ecclesiastic,
Civilian and Lady c.1430 in north west corner of nave. The early C15
octagonal font has been removed to the C19 church of St. Andrew in Melton.
