Belvedere. Circa 1716 by Sir John Vanbrugh. Colourwashed brick with tiled roof. H
shaped with four square, 3-stage, battlemtented corner towers. Two storeys to centre.
Three bays to each side with arched windows, mostly blocked, under projecting brick
imposts, continued as plat bands around the building. Rendered, projecting cills.
Blocked, arched door to south corner in vaulted porch recess. Belvedere in dilapidated
state at time of resurvey.
