GV II
House. c1700 restored in 1959. Red and blue brick with M shape centre, valley
roofs with large end stacks to rear. Built onto hill top, 3 storeys and attic to
left, 2 storeys and attic to centre and right, gable ends facing lane. Attics
under 3 gabled casement dormers on return fronts and in gables of entrance front.
3 casement windows across first floor. Glazed door to left of centre in Doric
portico with open pediment. Left hand return front: tall narrow arched casement
window rising through 2 storeys to right. Part glazed door to right of centre.
Interior: Heavy ceiling beams with end corbels, some posts visible.
