Public House. C16 to left, with C19 extensions to right. Timber framed on
rendered plinth to left, with brown brick cladding below, tile hung above.
Red and blue brick extensions with brick dentil eaves to plain tile roofs,
half hipped to right, stepped down to left. End stack with dentilled top to
left, triple stack at junction of roofs; offset end stack to right.
At right angles to street: 2 storeys and attic under flat casement dormer to
right of centre; one casement on first floor left, 2 on right. Plat band over
ground floor right with one 5-light and one 4-light window to ground floor left,
and two 2-light windows under cambered heads to ground floor right. Door under
cambered head to centre of right hand range. One storey flat roof extension to
left. Right hand return front:- Gable front brick extension to right under
slate roof. Flat roofed porch at junction of two ranges.
Interior:- Reputedly a Crown post roof survives intact.
