FORMER URBAN DISTRICT WARLINGHAM

Almshouse Group. 1673 by Harman Atwood; with C19 and C20 extensions and
restorations. Red and brown brick with restored plain tiled roof; end stacks
rendered on side wings. Central 2 storey block with projecting single storey
side wings forming rectangular front entrance court. Main block (No.31) 3 bays,
2 restored sash windows to each floor, camber head on ground floor. Central C20
planked door with arched head. Side wings: single storey with 3 camber head
casement windows to each wing. Board doors under cambered heads to outer ends.
C20 commemorative plaque on right hand wing. C20 flat roof extension to rear of
wings.
