Formerly two cottages, now one house. C16 with late C16/early C17
extensions and C20 restoration. Timber framed, underbuilt in sandstone
rubble with brick dressings and red brick infill to exposed frame above
under plain tiled roof, half-hipped to right. Two cottages, one at right
angles to rear right and now linked together to form L plan. Two storeys.
Central ridge stack on front range and two further ridge stacks to rear
range. Three framed bays across front with one bay addition to left end,
curved end braces to first floor. Three leaded casement windows to first
floor and five leaded casements below. Glazed door to rear right at
junction with other house. Pentice roofed extension to right end with
dormer above. Right hand return front: hipped roof with gablets and end
first floor bracing.

Interior: considerable amounts of framing visible, especially on ceilings.
