Terrace of 4 houses. Circa 1820. Incised whitewashed stucco with hipped slate
roof obscured by parapet. Two storeys and attics over basements. Central three
bays in shallow projecting break flanked by single bays and further bays set
back to ends. Stacks to left and right of centre and to rear. Plat band over
first floor and to base of parapet. Central window now blocked in attic storey,
one 16-pane glazing-bar sash window either side. Tripartite sash attic window in
flanking bay to left and 16-pane sash in bay to right. Casement doors either side
of centre on first floor with single casement doors on flanking bays. Shallow
Anthemion and wave-band balcony railings across the front. Six-pane sash windows
with margin lights on ground floor left and right of centre, tripartite sashes
flanking. Colonnade of 4 pedestalled Greek Doric columns across centre bays
supporting balcony with scroll panel railings and urn finials to angles. Doors to
left and right of centre approached up steps with further doors to set back end
bays; door to right end under traceried fanlight (No. 1), sash window on first
floor above. Right hand door under flat hood on brackets with round-arched glazing-
bar sash window in the first floor above.
