This is one of the original Lodges of Deepdene, presumably designed by W Atkinson
in 1804 when he built the house for Thomas Hope. 1 storey. 2 windows facing
north, 4 windows facing east. Faced with rough plaster with long and short
quoins. High parapet with pierced panels of red tiles in Halian style. Slate
roof. Round-headed windows with glazing bars intact. Porch on the north side
with round headed arch, rusticated columns, pediment containing a rose in the
tympanum and overhanging eaves above the pediment.
