House. Early C16, possibly earlier. Extended in C20 to left, right and front.
Timber framed on rendered plinth with whitewashed brick infilling and whitewashed
brick and tile hung extensions. Horsham slab roof over old cottage, plain tiled
roofs over extensions. Old cottage now to rear. Two storeys with stack to rear
right of centre. Two framed bays with arched bracing on first floor. One
diamond-pane leaded casement window on each floor of each bay. Gabled C20 brick
porch to centre. One windowed extension to right. Left hand return front:-
gable end truss exposed with short crown-post. Single storey extension to right
with hipped roof and imitation framing. Whitewashed brick, hipped-roof range to
left, stepping forward with half-glazed door to form entrance courtyard.
