Originally a C15 building, of which the front was entirely rebuilt in the
early C18. The north wall at the back is timbered and close-studded with
brackets beneath the eaves. The internal timber-work of the inside is of
the same period. The C18 front has 2 storeys and 4 windows with central
blocked window-space. Red brick and grey headers alternately on a stone
base with long and short stone quoins, stone string course and red brick
window dressings. Wooden modillion eaves cornice. Tiled roof. Glazing
bars intact. Porch with Doric columns, modillion cornice and pediment over.
Door of 6 fielded panels, top 2 panels glazed.
