II
Built in 1872. Architect Norman Shaw. L-shaped building built as a village
school and schoolmaster's house. Two storeys. Three windows. Ground
floor red brick with a diaper pattern of grey headers, first floor tile-hung.
Tiled roof. Three dormers, one gabled, 2 hipped. Tall chimney breast in
angle of the L. Gabled porch. The east wall of the east wing, which was the
school, has a tall pointed Gothic window.
