C15-C16 timber-framed house built in several sections. Two storeys. Three
windows. On the front facing north the 2 easternmost window bays are C15
with close-studding. The west window bay added in C16 with curved braces
and a gable. This front has 3 blocked original windows. The glazed windows
are casement windows, 3 with diamond-leaded panes (one with old green glass)
and 3 with small square leaded panes. Modern gable porch with old finial
and pendant inserted in it. Tiled roof with pentice behind. An early
extension was made to the house on the south side and the present outside
wall is not the original one. This wall is now faced with weather-boarding.
The east side is mostly tile-hung. Good open fireplaces and ceiling beams
inside.
