The earliest portion is the present service wing at the back in the north-east
corner. This is C18. The main portion to the south-west dates from about
1830 and was probably designed by the Brighton architect, Amon Henry Wilds.
Two storeys. Five windows. Stuccoed. Cornice and high balustraded parapet,
surmounted at each end by semi-circular caps containing shell decoration.
Long and short quoins. Bay of three windows at north end. Porch and fluted
Doric pilasters containing doorway with similar columns and triglyph frieze.
Later bay built out to south of porch. Glazing bars missing. Mid C19 wing
added to south-east which is of higher elevation with slate roof.
