Milepost. Probably mid-to-late C19. Cast iron with black painted base
and raised lettering. Triangular in section with chamfered top, sloping
to front. Lettered: "ACTON" on top; "WHITMORE I¼ /ASHLEY 6/MARKET
DRAYTON 11" on left; "NEWCASTLE 3" on right.
