9/96 Harding memorial
approximately 20m south-
east of Church of
St Peter

GV II

Chest tomb. Mid-C19. Sandstone ashlar. Rectangular in plan. Moulded
plinth and capping, panelled corner pilasters. Moulded inscription
panel on south to George Harding (died 1858) and on north to his wife,
Margaret Honor (died 1865). The tomb stands on a sandstone-faced terrace,
probably containing the family vault beneath.
