Probably paired originally. Early Cl9. Stuccoed. 4 storeys and basement with
area. No 16 has 4 windows, 3 contained in a 4 storey canted bay; No 17 has
triple windows. Sash windows. Channelled rustication on ground floor of No
16, cornice to canted bay, and band and cornice and parapet to house. No 17
has slightly cambered arches to 1st and 2nd floor windows and a cornice over
3rd floor window. Canted bay of 3 windows to ground floor and basement. Joint
steps to doorways under Doric porch, the entablature of which is the continuation
of the joint balcony. Semi-circular radiating fanlights, panelled reveals,
6 panel doors. Entrances flanked by pilasters.

Nos 3 to 20 (consec) South Terrace and East Garden Wall of No 3 form a group.
