Myrtlegrove House
II
Large early C19 house, probably built by the Duke of Norfolk when the adjoining
mansion, Michelgrove, was demolished about 1828. Two storeys. Nine windows. Faced
with flints with dressings, quoins and stringcourse of white brick. Eaves cornice.
Hipped slate roof. The two easternmost window-bays are recessed. Two projecting bays
of white brick on both floors, added later in the C19. Stuccoed porch.
