Terrace of early C19 houses along west side of Cavendish Street; 2 storeys
and cellar with 1 window bay each except No 21A. No 21A has 2 windows above
(1 sash window and 1 small circular window); 3 windows below (1 double sash
window at north-western end). Slate roof with hip at south-east end.
Stuccoed front. Doorway with frame and flat hood over. Nos 22 to 27 com-
prise a group of houses which have a continuous frontage and is slightly
recessed behind No 21A. Slate roof. Nos 22 to 24 roughcast; Nos 25 to
27 stuccoed. 1 window above and below. Sash windows in reveals; upper
windows in flat arches with wooden lintels; lower windows in slightly
segmental arches; all glazing bars intact. Nos 22 to 24 have good door-
ways with Doric pilasters and pediments; 6 panel moulded doors, the top 2
cut away and glazed. Nos 25 to 27 have doors set in slightly segmental
arches; flush panelled doors with top 2 panels cut away and glazed.
Nos 1 to 50 (consec) form a group.
