II
Large house of Cotswold type built in 1910 on the site of an older building. Two
storeys and attic in gables. Seven windows. Coursed stone. Horsham slab roof.
Central gabled projection with porch having room over. Lesser gable projection at
each end. Casement windows. John Galsworthy lived here from 1929 until his death in
1936 and died here. Listed for historical reasons on account of this association.
