Gateway, wall and outbuilding. The Gateway was probably built by Allan Cooke about
1610, when the porch, which the Gateway greatly resembles, was added to the house.
Malmstone four-centred pedestrian archway with cornice above surmounted by a pediment inset within the cornice with ball finials at the apex and angles. To the north and south of this is a stone wall enclosing the garden on the west side, the south
portion of which adjoins an outbuilding of stone rubble with a half-hipped tiled roof
and a pointed archway now blocked up and faced with flints.
