Houses and shops, now shops. Circa 1837, probably by John Wardle, for Richard Grainger. Sandstone ashlar; roof not visible. Four storeys, three bays each. C20 shop fronts. Most windows sashes, some with glazing bars, in plain reveals. Band at second floor level; second-floor prominent cornice; top cornice.
