5/26 The Three Crowns
II
Inn. Mid C18 to C19. Plastered brick, tiled hipped roof with
brick stacks. Originally building of 3 bays with successive
additions to either side and to rear. 2 storey, 4-window front.
Doors to right and left of front have flat wooden hoods on
brackets, three 12-pane sashes to right, two 16-pane sashes to
left and one 16-pane sash to centre range. First floor has four
12-pane sashes. Left return has small 12-pane sashes either side of
door. To rear are parallel ranges with hipped roofs, some timber-
framing visible in gable, windows are C20 and C19 casements.
Interior altered and not of special interest.
