Apparently late C18 but probably late C17, altered early C19. Former Cross
Keys public house. Two and a half storeys rubble on plinth with brick quoins
and quoined brick dressings to first floor windows. Three bays. Slate roof
with 2 gabled dormers and 2 brick ridge chimneys. Central gabled tower porch,
later painted brick, with arched entrance on ground floor which has imposts
and key and oeuil de boeufs on each side. A tripartite and 2 side windows
on first floor, glazing bar sashes. Two shop windows, left hand side formerly
a window in arched recess; projecting as shop front to right. Rear, facing
church, large 3 light glazing bar sashes on first floor under lintel.
